Joseph Heneine from Saint Anthony of Desert in Fall RIver Passed Away Sunday 3/13/22

Dear Parishioners of OLOP:

It is my sad duty to inform you that Joseph Heneine from our sister parish of Saint Anthony of the Desert in Fall River, passed away this past Sunday. Joseph is survived by his wife Emily, his children Maguy, Tony (Jocelyne), Fadi (Rima), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sisters Angela Ameen, Rausette Boulos and Lucy Heneine.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 16, from 5-8 PM, at Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, MA, and Liturgy of the Christian Burial on Thursday, March 17, at 10 AM, at Saint Anthony of the Desert Church. Funeral arrangements are attached to this email.

Our condolences are extended to the entire family. May Almighty God welcome Joseph into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.

Below please find a message from Chorbishop Sharbel Maroun regarding the Annual Clergy Conference and NAM Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 11 – 17, 2022.

As you know the Clergy Conference (Monday evening to Thursday afternoon, July 11-14) is required of all priests serving in the Eparchy. Deacons and Subdeacons are not required to attend but are most welcome.

Please share the information about the Convention to your parishioners.

Passing of Zackia El Hajj and Robert M. Thomas

We send our condolences to Mrs. Laurette Bou Ramia and her family on the passing of her brother Zackia El Hajj, who passed away in Lebanon on February 14th. May Almighty God welcome Zackia into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.

Our condolences are also extended to the family of Robert M. Thomas, who passed away this week in Georgia. Robert is the husband of Cindy, the father of Robert, Ryan, and Jennifer, and the brother of Joseph, Jr. of Beverly, MA, Clarie DaSilva of New Bedford, and Micahel P. Thomas of Wilburn, MA. May Almighty God welcome Robert into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.

2021 OLOP Church Christmas Pageant Video

Good Morning –

As many of you know, there was a video company by the name of Minus Red that was videoing the 2021 Christmas Pageant for use in a video they are producing on the traditions of Christmas.
