Dear Parishioners of OLOP:
I received the sad news that Norma Thomas passed away this morning. Norma is the mother of Sarah (Nigel) Hitchings, Rachael (Dan) Higgins, and Michael (Kelly) Thomas. She is also survived by her sister Mary Ann Chomak, grandchildren Anna, Joseph, and Helen Higgins, Cole and Saffron Hitchings, and Paul, Joshua, and Timothy Mattos, as well as three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening, March 25, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Saunders/Dwyer Funeral Home, 495 Park Street, New Bedford, MA , 02740. The Liturgy of the Resurrection will take place at Our Lady of Purgatory Church on Thursday, March 26, at 10:00 AM.
We extend our deepest condolences to all of Norma’s family. May Almighty God welcome Norma into His kingdom and may her soul rest in peace. Allah Yerhamma.
