Dear Parishioners of OLOP:
It is with much sadness that I inform you of Chorbishop Joseph Kaddo’s passing. I have attached a letter from Bishop Gregory addressed to all of us. We are forever thankful for Chorbishop Kaddo’s service to our Church, leaving an indelible mark of sacrifice, love, and care to all of us.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Sunday, May 5, visitation will take place from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM, at Saint Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 North Eastern Ave, Fall River, MA. The Ginnaz will be prayed at 6:00 PM.
Monday, May 6, there will be a visitation from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, with Divine Liturgy at 12:00 noon, followed by a mercy meal at the parish hall.
Chorbishop Joseph will begin his final journey to Troy, NY, in his home parish of Saint Ann Maronite Church and buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Troy, NY.
We extend our condolences to his family, to Bishop Gregory, Msgr. James Root, Fr. Christian Hbaiter, and the entire parish family of Saint Anthony of the Desert. May Almighty God welcome Chorbishop Kaddo into His kingdom with the words, “Job well done my good and faithful servant.” Allah yerhammo.
